Annual Report 2025 – sustainable transformation through education and climate protection

Dear climate action partners and contributors,
 

2025 served to reinforce our conviction that climate protection and social responsibility are intrinsically linked.

The focus of the Fair Recycling Foundation remained unchanged over the past year: climate protection through the efficient and environmentally responsible recycling of refrigerators.
 

At the same time, we are committed to promoting knowledge transfer and improving working conditions in the recycling sector in Brazil. A particular milestone in 2025 was the successful scaling of our microlearning project for waste collectors in São Paulo, in which more than 3,400 ‘catadores’ have already participated. This project clearly demonstrates how innovation, climate protection, international collaboration and social responsibility can work hand in hand.
